Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

For all visitors (no account required): We may collect anonymous usage analytics such as page views and tool usage counts through a privacy-respecting analytics provider. No personal identifiers are collected. Your IP address is not stored.

For registered users (optional): Email address and display name only. These are stored securely via Supabase (a trusted third-party database provider).

For Pro subscribers: Payment details are processed entirely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. ToolYapa never sees or stores your credit card or UPI details.

2. How Your Files Are Processed

All image and PDF tools on ToolYapa process files entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers, never transmitted over the internet, and never stored anywhere outside your own device.

The only exception is the PDF to Word converter, which requires server-side processing. Files sent for this conversion are processed immediately and discarded — we do not retain uploaded PDFs.

3. Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (if you create an account). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. The freemium usage counter is stored in localStorage on your device — never on our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services:

• Supabase — Database for user accounts (India region)
• Razorpay — Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Anthropic Claude API — Powers the AI question answering feature
• Google Fonts — Typography (Outfit, DM Sans)

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Account Settings page. Upon deletion, we remove your email address and all associated data within 30 days. Anonymised usage analytics (which contain no personal data) may be retained for product improvement purposes.

6. Children's Privacy

ToolYapa is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@toolyapa.com.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
